John Rossi in his own words

Early career

I am John Rossi – Bassist and Vocals.

I have played in many bands over the years, but a few more notable acts I have played with have included Iain Archer ( bass ), Snow Patrol ( synth ), The Vals ( guitar and Keys ), Peacefrog ( bass ). I have also sung in a band and played drums for a Band.

Kit

I have a small recording studio at home with some vintage synths including a Moog Rogue and a Roland Juno 60. I have an electronic drum kit to give Demos abit of life. Guitar wise I play a selection of Fenders and Rickenbacker’s, Guitars and Basses.

Musical influences

I started playing in bands as a young teenager on the drums, progressing onto bass and guitar with keys thrown in for good measure. Musically I have no boundaries , but the genres I listen to include rock, indie, pop, metal and film scores. I do not listen to Rave, garage, drum and bass R’n'B etc.

I have a dedicated and professional approach to playing music. Its my main passion. I am also interested in producing and recording other artists.

Academic achievements and hobbies

My Hobbies include going to the gym ( Body Pump ) and doing wake boarding / snow boarding whenever I can. I love to cook and have good House wife skills for those at all interested…

I studied architecture at Greenwich university and travel whenever possible to Europe and beyond…no club 18 – 30 holidays please!!!!
